WW2  (WWII) 1945 Ames U.S. Army Folding Trench Shovel with Canvas Cover.  Stamped on the front of the shovel blade is the following:
US Ames 1945
Handle is wood. Folded, the length of the shovel is 20 1/2". Unfolded it is 28" long. Canvas cover has US printed on one side.  On the back side is 3 lines of text that is hard to read.  The canvas cover also has metal belt clips on it.
In good used condition.  However, please see the photos to judge the... condition for yourself.
