Welcome to Antiques & Moore!This listing is for an antique cast iron colt pony statue doorstop made in the USA, c. 1920's-30's. This doorstop is a more scarce design with pony in standing position with open legs. The pony has a very heavy application of enamel that has been fired to have a hard, shiny appearance. Measures 8 1/4" high (at ears), 6" long and 2 1/4" wide. Weighs 3.10 pounds. This adorable doorstop is in very good Estate condition with no noted pa...int chips to body, however, considerable enamel loss on right front and back hoofs and on ears. When viewed with left side facing out, only a small amount of damage on top of ears is visible.We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
