A beautiful knife at an affordable price. This very solid old bowie knife was one I picked up at the Long Beach Flea Market a few years ago, sold by its maker (sorry, I don't think I ever knew his name). He was making knives in Long Beach and it was the nicest knife he had, the biggest, too. It was made with a carbon steel blade, not stainless, and a brass double cross-quillon that makes it look like those sold by Western for many years in the 1900's. Even though it has been we...ll-used it proves that the best knives are American. It was made with a carbon-steel blade that is razor sharp. Handles are walnut, nice quality, over a full tang with screw-type rivets that allow you to remove handles for cleaning or replacement. It measures 14.5" long and blade is a gigantic 9.5". Comes with a GORGEOUS leather sheath by Case XX. (knife is 10.25" overall). A very nice piece at an even better price. TERMS of SALEYou must be 18 to bid.
