Silver fronted pocket book of common prayer dated 1904.
This Edwardian pocket prayer book has a hallmarked silver cover embossedwith Reynolds style 'cherubs' and dates to 1904. It is in good period condition with all 630 pages intact and no damage to the leather bound spine or the back cover.
There are 10 or so pages which have bent corners and there are a few dints to the edges of the silver cover but nothing that seriously affects the overall conditionand it i...s a good, solid example of the early miniature pocket prayer books.I can't quite make out the first letter of the makers mark but it is possibly 'G?&C Ltd'
It measures approximately 55 mm long by (50 mm) by 23 mm deep.
