RARE BLONDE Antique Mourning Hair BROOCH with a Center Gold Cartouche engraved with the following: " Father's " in Fancy Script surrounded with an ornate engraved design. This Antique Brooch is made with LIGHT BLONDE Table-Worked Hair. For every 100 pieces of Antique Mourning Table-Work Hair Brooches you find ~ almost all are made with Dark Brown Hair...Blonde Hair Work Pieces are the most collectible because of the hair color. Working C clasp on the back side. ...Size: 2 1/2" long x approx. 1" high. *** The BLONDE COLOR is a "White" Blonde not Yellow. Condition...in very nice antique used condition, there is a small hole that was made on the bottom edge of the gold cartouche just below the word Father's...something might have been attached from this hole, this is "as found", I bought this Mourning Brooch this way. *** Any shadows or dark spots you see on the gold is just camera reflection. *** I do not own a gold tester, the gold was not polished or cleaned.
