A very rare and unique example of English Yellow-Glazed earthenware. This particular pattern can be found in the following book "English Yellow Glaze Earthenware" by J. Jefferson Miller II. The identical pattern items (bowl and butter tub) are displayed on pages 77 and 48. The plate features leaf design with copper luster and painted in green and yellow. It is likely to be Cambrian Pottery Swansea and produced around 1820s. Highly collectible, the plate measures 10" wide. Overall very... good condition, no chips, some wear and rough areas around the edges. The plate (see pic 3) has what appears to be a crack-like imperfection in the middle I think is due to the production process. There are several Stilt/Kiln marks (3 small holes) on the plate. Please refer to pictures for more information. The last picture shows hairline-like line, however the only affected are is in the glaze, not the actual plate.One plate available.
