This is an ultra rare Mormon LDS document that was sent to the U.S. Senate in 1858 seeking Statehood for the Territory of Utah. This document is 10 pages long and includes the Constitution of Deseret. This Constitution, however, is considerably different than the Constitution of Deseret that was created in 1849. It's interesting to see the evolution of an idea over a 10 year period. The pamphlet is folded and held together with a string. It measures approx. 6... 1/4" by 9 1/2".
