Original Description:
 A beautiful pair of antique English porcelain plates decorated with central reserves of floral and fruit still life  with a blown glass centerpiece bowl or compote and a glass of wine typical of the Victorian era - all on a purple ground enhanced by gilding.  Marked on the back with impressed - "OPAQUE PORCELAIN B" and with numbers by hand.  Good overall condition - one with a rim chip on the back and one with a hairline on the back.  Each measures 9 5/8" in d...iameter.  Nice shaped ribbon edge.  Please view our other auctions for more of these plates - each one different.  You are bidding on a pair of plates.
