This is a nice example of a Japanese Army NCO Sword, Type 32 that is wearing Matching Numbers. It is mounted with a well made machine made blade that measures 30 1/2 inches in length which remains in very nice original, unsharpened condition with only minor surface staining and blemishes. The Sword wears a metal D-guard with a checkered wooden grip that has survived in excellent condition and is dated "Meiji 42" which translates to "1909". The MATCHING metal scabbard has minor scuffs a...nd a couple of very tiny dings, nevertheless remains in very good serviceable condition as well. Overall measuring 37 1/4 inches in length.
