This is a lovely and very old set of handpainted Victoria Carlsbad dishes from Austria. The mark on the back dates them to 1891-1918. No chips or cracks, but some wear to the gold on some of the plates, as shown in the photos.The platter measures 25" x 10.5" x 2". The 12 plates are 8.5". The sauce boat is fixed to the underplatter and measures 10" x 6" x 4.5".The plates include 6 different fish designs: 4 of one, 3 of another, 2 of another and three individual designs.The Victoria Carl...sbad factory was established in 1883 in Karlsbad.The handling cost of $5 will cover insurance. This is a large box, packed very carefully. It is expensive to ship so I have listed the set well below its true value.
