Excellent quality 18th century iron French keys from 4.5 to 5 inches (12.5 cm) long.   The stems and bits of the keys are fairly typical of the period but what set these one apart from most are their elaborate, very nicely designed and cut bows. The key with the simpler bit has two little faces cut into the bow – very nice – I haven’t seen another like it.  The other two have more elaborate bows, cut, chiselled and pierced into very decorative s...hapes.   Condition of the keys is good, the smaller one is a little more worn (from usage) and corroded than the others but still in pretty good shape.   These are rare, high quality and very collectable examples of these types of keys. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Buyer pays shipping, £4.50 UK, £11.00 to continental Europe and £13.00 to the rest of the world.
