Three excellent quality 17th/18th century iron French keys from 7 to 10.5 cm long.   The stems and bits of the two larger keys are fairly typical of the period but the bows are unusual, one a nicely cut trefoil, the other more elaborately cut and pierced.   These two are likely furniture lock keys and the third smaller key is probably from a chest – more likely 17th than 18th century.  Again this one has a nicely cut, pierced, ch...iselled and filed bow, that is a bit bent.  The bit is very complex on this little key – is would have engaged on a rotating pin/cuff in the lock.  Three rare, unusual good quality keys. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.  Buyer pays shipping, £3.00 UK, £10.00 to continental Europe and £13.00 to the rest of the world.
