Here's an outstanding Columbia BKT cylinder phonograph with a large, beautiful, and all-original Columbia flower horn. The phonograph is in excellent working order and will arrive at your doorstep ready to play and enjoy.
Top works are in excellent condition, with nice original nickel-plating everywhere. Scattered minor marks in the enamel consistent with the paint's age and authenticity, but no rust or other damage.
Mechanism and motor are likewise in excellent condition, and the phonograph has no trouble playing cylinders all the way through without the need for re-winding.
Cabinet is in excellent condition, with tight corner joints and original hardware (normal tarnish and oxidation). The shellac finish has been been judiciously restored to near mint condition .
The flower horn is in excellent condition, with clean original paint and excellent original gold details.
Original Columbia Lyric reproducer, with a resilient spring and a good sapphire stylus.
I'llinclude with the phonograph a Columbia Indestructible cylinder, andif you get tired of listening to it, there are plenty of other titlesavailable on ebay and elsewhere. The phonograph plays Edison cylinderstoo, I should note, along with those made by Oxford, Lakeside, etc. Infact, any 2-minute cylinder can be played on this machine -- wax orcelluloid. I've been selling and shipping antiquephonographs, antique radios and antique scientific apparatus for morethan 25 years.
