After more than 40 yearsof collecting, the time has come to thin down on my
antique-sewing-machineephemera. Please check for new items each week.
They will range from thesuper-rare to the more common. All will be packaged
carefully in ahard-card-back envelope or whatever might be more suitable.

A guaranteed-original four-page leaflet for theCanadian Raymond machine,
sold in England by James Weir and in the USA unde...rvarious names, including
New England, etc.
We can date this little manual accurately becauseWeir broke with Raymond in
1873 and after this produced an “improved” model.
This one dates before the two businessmen split.
Two heavy horizontal foldsbut, otherwise, in remarkably good condition.
Just four pages and the one woodcutengraving on the front. It gives instructions
for operating the machine and the various attachments.
The leaflet measures 4 ½ x 7 ½ inches/110/190mm. (BG4C)
