This type of tin-glazed earthenware pottery is generally referred to as Delftware.
Condition: There is a professionally restored rim repair, and there are glaze fleabites and frits typical of antique tin-glazed earthenware. . Otherwise in excellent condition consistentwith age and usage. Please examine the photos; they are part of thedescription.
Dimensions: Approximately 8¾” diameter.
Decorated in a cobal...t blue hand-painted design.
The rim is bordered with a diaper and dot patterninterspersed with panels of wavy lines enclosing alternating flowers and stars.
The center has a Chinoiserie garden scene of awoman sitting on a fence surrounded by willow trees.
The reverse is unmarked.
