Antique Union Porcelain Oyster Plate - Very Good Vintage

Hand-painted oyster plate from U.P.W., Union Porcelain Works, with a patent mark for Jan. 4, 1881. The patent mark is on the back of the plate and is somewhat faded (see picture). There is also a second mark in yellow.
The oyster plate is press molded porcelain with four oyster wells, a clam shell well and an additional sauce well. The spaces between are embellished with sea weed, snails, shells, and a crab claw. UPW oyst...er plates were always hand decorated; it would be unlikely to find two plates exactly alike.
The oyster plate measures 8 1/2" by 6 3/8" with a height of 1".
The plate is in very good vintage condition with slight rubbing. No chips, hairlines or repairs.
