Original Description:
This authentic spear thrower was obtained from a private collection, for the study of Australian hunting technology by the experimental archaeology company Occoquan Paleotechnics LLC.   The study of the piece showed this to likely be Eucalyptus Wood, and the handle was a grip of resin/charcoal mix.   The spur has the polish of usewear during the hunt, and it is lashed with sinew.   It measures over 23 inches long.
