A Rare AntiqueHand Woven Kirsehir Turkish YastikCirca: Late 19th Century28 inches (71 cm) long x 22 inches (56 cm) wideCondition; Good:  There are losses to the ends and corners, andthere are some areas of moth losses where the underlying warps are exposed andlight can be seen through the weaving. However, the over-all appearance of thisrare weaving is attractive. A cloth sleeve is woven to the back for hanging.Description: The weave is like a Soumak weave, but nottypical. All of... the dyes appear to be natural.
