19th Century Sevres Style Hand Painted Mme De Mouchy Portrait Raised Gold Plate

Beautiful scalloped edge dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated with a hand painted portrait of Mme de Mouchy. Signed Moreau below the portrait. The portrait is framed by a band of green along the inner rim and raised gold gilt floral scrollwork. The border of the plate is a cream color and green with raised gold gilt floral scrollwork, beading, and lattice / net designs. Has the name Mme de Mouchy w...ritten in script on the back. Also has a pseudo Sevres date code mark S. 37 and a blue and red pseudo Sevres mark. Probably made by one of the Limoges or Paris factories during the late 19th century.
Anne de Noailles (Anne d'Arpajon) lived between 1729 and 1794. She was married to Philippe de Noailles, Duke of Mouchy. She served as the dame d'honneur of two Queens of France, Marie Leszczyńska and Marie Antoinette. She was called "Madame Etiquette" by Marie Antoinette for her insistence that no minutia of court etiquette ever be altered or disregarded.
Has some wear to the gilding including a few minor losses to the beading, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide.
