VINTAGE US MILITARY ARMY FOOT LOCKER GREEN METAL TRIM OAKLAND ARMY BASE - DENVER. Locker didn’t contain any indication of what conflict or war era it came from but it is definitely well used. Stenciled wording includes Oakland Army Base, Denver Co, Oakville which is a town not far from where I am located in Missouri, but can’t confirm that. To PTO San Francisco. Some lettering then -53 which could indicate Korea, again though just a guess. You can make out some stenciling clearly o...thers you can‘t. Regardless locker has been used and traveled. It’s missing the leather handle on the left side. Also the hinge on the left side is missing, that connects the lid and base. Very bottom has waves and ridges, assume water or moisture caused that. Most all metal trim has rust coating it. Cool thing is even with its flaws it still is functional. Front hinges work lid closes flush to the base. No holes, I put in three pair of fatigues, two pair of boots a canteen and some other random items and was able to lift it without it crumbling or falling apart so it still is functional just a good old workhorse. As always feel free to ask questions make an offer and definitely look at the pics.
