This rare 1910s English "Thunderclouds" litho hinged tobacco tin, measuring 1 3/4" x 4 1/8" x 6 3/8", is in fair condition with no rust, a few small dents and some age related paint scratches and missing plating. The hinge is in excellent working order. This very attractive green and black tin with gold lettering features an image of lighting bolts in a dark night sky. The tobacco was manufactured by the William Clarke & Son Tobacco Company, Ltd., Liverpool ...& London, which was a branch of the Imperial Tobacco Company, Ltd, Great Britain and Ireland.
