Up for Auction is a EXCELLENT QUALITY PAIR c1920 GOLD GILT BRONZE ONYX FIGURAL ROMAN WARRIORS BOOKENDS The Bookends are top quality examples with a great Art Deco Period design and would date to around 1920 I am told. The Bookends are solid Bronze which has been richly Gold Gilded. The bases are carved Green Onyx stone. I could not find any markings but they are likely French or Austrian.
Condition : The bookend are in excellent condition for the age with only a few minor chips to the stone and the figures are a tiny bit loose, we did not have the tools to try and tighten them..
Size : The bookends measure 5-1/2 inches long by 3-3/4 inches wide and stand 8-1/2 to the top of the spear. PLEASE REVIEW PAYMENT AND RETURN POLICIES PRIOR TO BIDDING. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTIONS!
