we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transferan extremely fine example of an early liberty & co tudric art nouveau pewter tea pot, in fact one of the earlier recorded tudric pieces illustrated, it is from probably the most iconic and easily recognisable design the 0231 teaset which was designed by archibald knox, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1902 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit... were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range, they also made the cymric range of silver ware, fully marked with the design number 0231 plus the sought after tudric stamps to the base, this dating to around 1902/4 and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the planished pewter is in a polished condition with absolutely no loss to the wonderful knox honesty & entrelac designs which adorn the body of the pot to either side of the handle which retains its original intricately woven wicker covering, the overall condition is superb so a very nice display piece. if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you. NB: the last 3 pictures are of the complete set including the tray which i will be listing over the coming weeks , this listing is for the teapot only.
