This is a copy of The Last of the Barons published in 1913 by the Oxford University Press.
It has a leather spine with leather covered front and back boards. The guilt is a little rubbed in places and the front board is starting to come away. Other than a little age related foxing/yellowing it is in good condition and still retains its tissue covering the picture of Lord Lytton at the front. This copy of the book was given to a G L Brown as a Class II Latin prize at the Hydneye House School in Willingdon Sussex in 1916. This school was one of the foremost prep schools in the country until its closure in 1969. One of the masters at the time of this prize giving was the father of David Maltby, one of the Dambuster pilots.
