A beautiful hand painted, artist signed 19th Century Sevres France “Madame Elisabeth” cabinet plate. This porcelain plate features a signed portrait of Madame Elisabeth who was the youngest sibling of King Louis XVI in a purple gown with a colorful hand painted floral border, and an intricate Rococo style gilded edge. This plate is hand titled in red, numbered in green “S.46.” stamped in blue with the Sevres seal, dated 1846, and bears the crimson Chateau de... Versailles seal to back. Measuring 9.5" round, this beauty is in excellent condition.
