Superb 19thc Dresden figure of a standing poodle.
Excellent attention to detail. Porcelain Derby figure of a poodle carrying a colourful flowering basket in mouth. The dog has a wonderful face which is beautifully detailed with a good pointed snout. Thick applied chipping to upper body and to tail and leg pom-poms. Stands on raised cushion base with tassels and which is hollowed beneath. Gilt mark to side of base.
Measures some 4" height.
Conditio...n overall is excellent and age commensurate. There is a hairline to the base around one back leg as image shows.
