HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!PLEASE NOTE: We are cutting back significantly on the number and dollar value of the items listed in our Weekly eBay Auctions that end December 21th and December 28th – we usually do this each year in order to be able to spend some time with friends and family over the Holiday Season. Well… this year is a bit different.
Like many of you, we will not be seeing our loved ones this Christmas… There won’t be any family around the tree o...pening presents on Christmas morning and there won’t be much of a New Year’s celebration… We are foregoing the gatherings this year because, as Charles Dickens told us, the true meaning of Christmas involves caring for and about our fellow man. By Christmas day over 320, 000 fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, grandmothers, grandfathers, friends and strangers will have been taken from us all by this horrific Pandemic and the very least we can do is protect others from dying by staying home and not contributing to the suffering of our fellow man by contributing to the spread of the virus. Next Christmas will come soon enough and it will be THE MOST JOYOUS EVER!!! Until then we can give up a few small pleasures to save a life or two.

This mid-20th century Beaded Belt measure approx. 36" long and 1 3/4" wide and has double strips of hide at each end measuring 16 1/2” long that are to be used as ties (overall length is approx 69”). There is a presentation inscription on the back of one of the hide ties that reads “2 Our Sacred Friend Roy Hamilton”.
This wonderful piece of Northern Plains beadwork is loom beaded in colors of chalk white, red, pea green, translucent dark blue, and translucent orange. The Strip is made of a soft, brain tanned hide and decorated with traditional, geometric designs.
The Beaded Belt offered here is unconditionally guaranteed original and of the period. They are NOT a reproductions or modern recreations but an original Northern Plains Native American Loom Beaded Belt crafted in the mid 20th century.
