Up for auction is a HARDCOVER WITH SLIPCASE TITLED THE LAST DAYS OF POMPEII BY LORD LYTTON.. This is published by HERITAGE PRESS IN 1957 and comes with the original slipcase. Also you will find a small Heritage club monthly newsletter called SANDGLASS. based on the author.. There are some illustrations throughout the book and the book and slipcase is in very good condition. A great addition to any library.
This is in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION - (AFTER ALL IT'S OVER... 50 YEARD OLD ! ) - all intact, covers very nice, binding tight, no writing, very clean, little wear . Slipcase does have minor lower edge wear, A VERY NICE COPY ! This has been stored in our clean, smoke-free home.
