Original Description:
Very Rare Late 18th Century/Early 19th Century Antique Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Pattern Jar or Canister.  Not exactly sure what this was used for. An absolutely beautiful and unusual piece in superb condition (see photos).  Hand painted featuring central eagle theme with red and white stripes surrounded by decorative floral pattern with multiple perimeter gilt designs encircling the neck.  Guaranteed 100% original and unaltered.  Measures approximately 5 in...ches high without the decorative lid and about 6.5 inches with it.  Base is two inches in diameter and is about 4 inches or so in diameter at its widest point.  
Coming directly from the estate of a prominent Palm Beach attorney (relative) who claimed a presidential provenance; however, we could not verify and therefore the item is being sold on its merits without provenance.
