I purchased this crazy grasshopper man in Oaxaca, Mexico in 2003. It is signed by the artist Poblete. This grasshopper is brightly colored with thick raised paint making its texture amazing. The green curly hair... makes it even more striking. It was carved to lay in an usual way. It is a nice medium-sized piece - perfect to display anywhere. I really appreciated this unusual piece in my collection.
