Pipestone/catlinite 4 Winds Personal Prayer Peace Pipe W/ Stem N/R

You are looking at a personal prayer sized 4 Winds style peace pipe.It is made from genuine Top layer pipestone. quarried from the sacred quarries at Pipestone National Monument located near by. It makes for a truly unique item with great decorative appeal. this stone is dark red base with very small black, and also lighter colored spots located through out the pipe. On one side has the characteristic lighter coloring if top layer pipestone. The spots are very small and can be seen whe...n held close.The pipe bowl measures 3-1/4” long and stands 2-1/4 tall. The pipe is new, has not been used or blessed. Will be fully functional and make a great personal prayer pipe or an excellent unique addition to any collection.The stem is made from California Redwood. It’s also rubbed with an oil to highlight the natural beauty of the wood grain.The stem measures exactly 9” inches long and has a airtight seal to the pipe when inserted and is drilled straight. When pipe and stem are connected the total length is exactly 12-1/4” long. the stem is also decorated with a traditional feather drop. Made with deer hide leather, brass cones and pheasant feathers.I have signed the pipe “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation pipe maker.
