The radio measures 224mm wide by 41mm deep by 110mm high, and receives AM frequency 535 - 1605 kHz. Without boxing or packing, it weighs approximately 7.1 kilograms. Operates on 4 C-size batteries - do not include batteries.
This is a historically significant radio for Sony's early entrants into the world's transistor radio markets. The TR-66 radio is quite a rare find in... the Auction. It makes a great collectible item.I tested and it picks up many AM stations.Tuning knob and volume controls are stable and no need to replace.
Circuit board and each historical electronic component seem to be original. 64 year old circuit board is still clean and all electronic components are still in good shape, no change of color, no deform, and still work today.
All parts of this radio easily exceed the average use number of years.Plastic cabinet has some cracks which are all repaired now. Please see the repaired places in the last photo attached. There is no corrosion on the spring where the batteries connect.Caring belt is original.
I provide a number of photos for your inspection, Please look closely. There are no returns, no refunds.
Thank you.
