This listing is for a stunning 1952 strung (non-walker) Ginny dressed in the #86 "Ginny Series" poodle coat outfit. This amazing outfit consists of the dress, bloomers, socks, center snap shoes, poodle coat and hat, and the gold topped acetate container that came with all the 1952 Ginny Series dolls. You can see this outfit and all the other 1952 Ginny series outfits on p. 78 of B. Clarks "The Colorful World of Ginny". The doll is a beauty with gorgeous brunette hair, beautiful blue ey...es that like to stay open, all original rosy cheeks and lips with no retouches, and light brown eyelashes and brows that have not turned green or yellow. There are no cracks, splits, or stains in the hard plastic. She was nicely restrung because of stretched rubber bands. This dress was one of many different simple dresses that were put under the poodle coats. This exact dress was shown in the Clark book and I've included a photo of it in my listing for you to see. The dress is in excellent condition. Under the dress are a pair of excellent condition pink bloomers. The socks are excellent but the shoes show some wear near the snaps. I'm always very careful with center snap shoes and these can be slipped off and on the doll without unsnapping. The shoes are a nice color pink and display beautifully. The poodle coat and hat are just excellent! They don't even look played with at all. The coat is tagged with the 1952 skinny "Vogue" tag. The color and the condition of the fuzzy coat is wonderful, no flaws detected. Finally Ginny has the correct gold top acetate container with curlers and a cosmetic cape inside.
