Vintage Vogue 1952 - Strung ‘Candee’ GINNY Doll With Reddish Caracul Wig - VHTF. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I am pleased to offer for sale a beautiful 8 inch 1952 strung Ginny "Candee" doll as seen on page 95 in ‘The Colorful World Of Ginny’ by Barbara Clark. (See photo).
This doll is just beautiful with minimal cheek fading. She has light brown painted lashes and eyebrows. Her brown sleep eyes do need a little encouragement to open fully and clo...se, but the do work. It’s best not to use your finger to try to work them as this may fade her lashes. Tapping her feet on a hard surface usually will result in fully open eyes.
Her light reddish-brown caracul wig is full with no worn spots. She has her original red flowers in her hair and on her dress.
Her lovely dress still has its original sizing with matching bloomers that stay up! There is no tag on the dress. I don’t know if it ever had one or the previous owner removed it. Her gold tie shoes are original and in good condition with their original red ribbon ties. She does not come with a stand. A very hard version to find is this Ginny!
