Rare Vintage Italian Cantagalli majolica pottery lamp base vase style. Hand painted scene in the center and heavily decorated with Raffaellesco motif. Cantagalli rooster signature on base. Dated late 19th century to the early 20th century. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Please see the pictures as they are part of my description. It measures 17” tall, 9” at widest. The Raffaellesco pattern was inspired by Raphael’s 16th century frescoes in the Vatic...an place. It is said that the central motif of this pattern - the dragon, symbolizes a benevolent deity who bestows good luck and fair winds to seagoing merchants, thus the puffs of wind steaming from the dragon’s mouth. Today, it is commonly believed that having a piece of Raffaellesco in your home brings blessings and good luck.

Shipping terms:- I ship items within 2 business days from the payment is received. Packages are normally shipping via USPS with tracking.- All packages must be sent to the verified address on your Payment account.
International shipping/ import duties term:- For international shipping, I use eBay international standard delivery, USPS priority mail, and USPS express mail. Please note that eBay international standard delivery takes about 8-25 business days. Packages sometimes can be delayed by foreign custom. Your patience is appreciated. If you wish to change delivery service, please let me know before you pay, so I can make those changes for you. If your item is returned by the post office or customs, you will be responsible for all shipping fee incurred. You will need to pay additional shipping fee if you wish to ship the item again. Buyers are responsible for any import or custom taxes or fees.
Return terms:- Sales are final. Return will be accepted if an item has been inadvertently misrepresented. Buyer must notify me within 24 hours of receipt. Returns must be returned in same condition as received and by the same method as when originally shipped.
Insurance terms:- Most of my items are shipping with insurance. If an item has arrived with damage, please report immediately after delivery. Also, buyer will be required to send paperwork and pictures.
