These earrings are unabashedly pretty. A woman is swaying to music as her Pale Green Leopard Jasper skirt swings to the side. Her arms curve up as she enjoys the "Melody". The jasper is held in place with lace like silver edging. This is a special dress for her. One earring is her facing us, and the other she faces away. It's like she is spinning around you. Need I say more?
Handmade in my studio during the 80's but this pair was never worn before. These used to be sold in mus...eum stores (Whitney, SFMOMA), boutiques (Barneys, Fred Segal) and small artisan craft stores.
1 1/2" tall x 1 1/4" wide x 1/8" thickSterling Silver with post 1/4" from top. Omega backs with the post make them hang in the right position and they feel great. To use the Omega back, flip the Omega all the way open, put the earring on with the post, then flip the Omega closed.Pale Green Leopard (spotted) Jasper is set slightly under the woman's torso and bezeled in with the silver "lace."Grid photo has 1/4" squares
