Description A beautiful decorative English antique 19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver circular pill box by the silversmiths Levi & Salaman - (1892-1927), in good ...condition and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1897. Lovely quality genuine 122 year old sterling silver box, with a hinged lid and all-over decorated with attractive embossed flowers and scrolls. Inside it still has its original interior gilding and there are no added personal engraved monograms or initials.Measurements Measures approx 1.35 inches (34mm) in diameter and is 0.9 inches (23mm) deep.Date English antique Victorian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1897 (date letter "x"). Excellent clear struck matching hallmarks on the box and the lid.Maker Silversmiths initials "L & S", (Levi & Salaman - 1892-1927). Condition Good condition, with no splits or cracks, definitely no wear/pin holes and no nasty knocks or dents, just a couple of very minor little surface bruises, really nothing and a very nice example. The silver hinged lid works perfectly and it opens and closes tightly and securely and the interior gilding is still mostly all intact. There are no added personal engravings in the cartouche.
