A wonderful antique purse...from the 1920's to 30's...the fabric is a tapestry in a lovely floral motif with pink roses, blue bows and birds...the work is exquisite...the frame is an Art Deco look with a cabochon carnelian stone at the top of the latch...it has the original silk lining...the tapestry is in condition...it does have some wear at both bottom corners...it needs some stitches where the Tapestry is attached to the frame...the frame is in good condition...it looks like there ...was a label sewn inside but that is gone...the bag itself measures about 5 1/2" by 5 1/2" and is about 11 1/2" long with the chain...such a gorgeous work of art to use or to add to any collection!
