BUY IT NOW! I’m offering an exquisite example of Italian artistry in the form of a 3-FOOTED MAJOLICA AMPHORA VASE. Made in ITALY. Hallmarked for the the iconic CANTAGALLI factory on underside of base (rooster mark photo). Beautiful, handpainted instoriato or historical mythological winged half human/half animal designs in a multicolor palette. Much attention to detail and execution. Curling snake handles and paw feet. It has seen some turbulence during its lifetime in the form of sur...face chips and missing handle elements (photo). However, still exudes the charm of its original intent! Polychrome. Dimensional. Pottery clay base. GOOD, preowned, used condition. Damages as stated, “as is” condition. Clean. High glaze finish. Measures approximately 6” height, 5” across, 2” top round opening.
