True U.K. Bloomsbury First Edition, printed at Clays Ltd. in Great Britain, not a Ted Smart, not a book club, and not a foreign edition
Number line reads "10 9 8 7 6 5"Copyright Text "Joanne Rowling" as compared to later prints where it was changed to match the cover stating "J.K. Rowling"Young wizard on back cov...er and spine of the book and jacket, which was changed to the old wizard on all printings after the 17th print run

Dust Jacket Condition Details
Jacket is not price-clipped and has the young wizard on the spine and back.
There is no writing or inscriptions inside or out.There are no scuffs or true scratches, and just minimal rubbing to the covers.
The colors and illustrations are bright, with no sun fading.
The inside white of the jacket is clean and bright with no staining.The inside dust flap corners are sharp with slight wear to the edges.
There is a tiny nick to the back spine edge about two inches from the top (zoom picture #2).The corners wrapping the boards have minor bumping/rubbing.
There is minor edge wear present.The spine has no wrinkling except slight inward curling/wrinkling at the top and bottom edges.As you can see from the pictures, the dust jacket is in near fine condition overall and presents nicely, but has a few minor flaws.
Book & Boards Condition Details
There is no writing or inscriptions inside or out.
There is no foxing to any of the pages or page edges.There are no tears, marks, dogears or dents to any pages as they are in excellent condition.
The cover colors and illustrations are bright with no fading or visible scratches, and almost zero rubbing to the front and back covers...very nice.There is minor edge wear present.The corners are good with minimal bumping/rubbing (zoom in on picture #'s 10-12).There is no wrinkling to the spine except some inward curling to the top and bottom edges (zoom picture #9).
There is a tiny shallow line dent toward the middle front edge of the spine, but very hard to see except at right angle and light.The spine is tight and square with minor separation beginning but there are no loose or missing pages and no separation between the cover pages which is almost always present in these older prints.The pages have minor early yellowing from age, but very nice for its age.
As you can see from the pictures, the book and boards are in very nice condition overall.
The book will be very carefully packed for shipping placed in a sealed protective sleeve, tripple bubble wrapped, securely boxed and shipped First Class USPS within one business day including Saturdays. I will place the dust jacket in a removable mylar cover for added protection during shipping and future storage.
