Beeton, Strand , W.C.), preface and analytical index a...re towards the end of the book. The free end pages have early owners names, Cornish addresses and dates 1881, 1894, and 1916. Blue, blind decorated boards which are worn, faded and stained, the spine is missing. Binding is holding. Pages, are aged, darkened, with spotting/ blotching throughout .There are some pages creased or have turned corners but no tears.The rare frontispiece and adjacent decorated title page are both grubby.
