Ludwig 1965 Jazz Snare Drum This white marine pearl, 5.5”x14”, 8-lug, vintage Ludwig snare drum features a keystone badge with serial number 24717, suggesting 1965 as its original date of production. The drum has the original rectangular felt (white) internal muffler and baseball-bat operating lever, but some connecting hardware between the two appears to have been replaced, as was some hardware connecting the throw off. The lugs appear to be original.There’s a small crack i...n the pearl finish located at the baseball-bat operating lever, but otherwise the pearl finish is in good shape and has aged to a warm yellow. The rims are chrome-over-brass (manufacturer unknown) and have signs of faint pitting, but only visible on close inspection. Buyer pays $25 shipping.
