For sale is a late Victorian Era example of a Cameron Highlander Officers full dress sporran. The sporran is very well preserved. The gold bullion wire tassels are original, with the proper horse hair centers. The tassels are also laced together as they should be, though these have be re-done a few times it seems. Some wear to the gold mesh covering on the lower tassels where the upper tassels have rubbed on them over the years. The Cameron center piece on the cantle features a Victori...an period style Crown over the thistle. The center piece is also silver and comes up bright when polished. Proper chain with cross-bar hangers on the ends of the tassels. Red leather backing with pocket and internal cord drawn coin pouch. It appears that the edge trim was professional restored at some point in my opinion. The hair remains full bodied and securely attached. Please ask questions before bidding.
