Here is marvelous plate Hallmarked; Beehive - Liebestraum or (Loves Dream) - 26172- This is a marvelous Royal Vienna portrait plate and it measures 9.5" round. The porcelain cabinet plate has gilt and raised bead detailing that accents all around the border. Centering a beautiful hand painted scene of a winged Cherub gently placing a Kiss on the Sleeping Lady. Surrounding this scene is a most lovely lacy looking gilt decoration, p...laced against a wide heavy gilt band. To the right of her shoulder below the cloud is faint signature, it appears to be Wagner which we have tried our best to capture for you in photo # 10.
Beautiful coloring can be seen on this plate starting with the wide turquoise color rim accented with heavy gilt and raised white beading. There are five large rectangular sections with stunning raised gilt scroll designs that resembles two porpoises with a diamond design in between them. In between each large section, are five smaller sections, and each of these is accented with a different scene done in gilt with heavy raised gilt beaded edges. The plate is in absolutely pristine condition. Another stunning plate to add to your collection.
