Up for auction is very early “snakey head, ” hollow Premier Grade Hen Bluebill made by the Mason factory, Detroit, ca. 1900s. This round-bodied, smaller bird is in old working paint that exhibits nice craculature. It has a very tight age check in the back as well as some minor separation at the body seam. It retains its original glass eyes and is hot stamped branded “W.A.S.” twice on the bottom. All in all, a nice old working top grade dec...oy by the Mason factory.
