As I’m serving for construction of ‘○○’, don’tworry about me, please. In last May, I moved to ‘○○’(Timor). This place isdifferent from other places where I stayed and climate is nice. It’s hot in thedaytime. But it’s cold in the morning and in the night. There are varioustypical fruits in southern sea area and scarce fruits here. This is comfortableplace. And it’s my great pleasure to receive comfort bags. My comrade readletters again frequently. He may be able to recite them. At remote corner ofbattle filed, I wish you all may be fine. Please give my regards to my sisterin Tokyo. To Takashi Nagasawa. From Kiheiji Sakaino.”
