Well, I promised you that I would have a couple more display pieces...and here they are...this one is from 1930 and would have held pocket knives in a hardware or general store. This one does still rotate- but could use some WD-40 to really spin fast. I love the old wavy glass and I love the detailed trim across the top. This piece would of had boards that mounted inside up close to the glass and the knifes would have hung on those boards and one would turn the cabinet to see the colle...ction. I found where one of these sold at auction in 2013 for 625.00 with the boards and I have added that screen shot to the photographs here- that cabinet was in much rougher shape and did not have the graphics that this piece has either.
