Original Description:
This recent estate find is a very nicely painted antique late 19th or early 20th C Japanese Imari platter (late Meiji or early Taisho). The plate has a rectangular shape with a central decoration of a flower pot on a small stand surrounded by alternating panels of flowers and bamboo. The underside has blue painted bats and Lingzhi (fungus of immortality). The mark on the base belongs to one of the many kilns of the period however it is not clear exactly which one.

Size: 13" W x ...10" H x 2.5" D  // 33cm W x 25.5cm H x 6.35cm D

Condition: Very good, with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Some surface wear commensurate with age and slight yellowing in two underside corners.
