Antique American Pewter Teapot, Unmarked, Possibly Boardman, c. 1830 - 1850. This teapot has a highly polished patina with an inverted mold shaped body. This is a very nice American pewter teapot with a curved spout and a scrolled wooden and metal handle. The teapot is unmarked but I believe that it is American from the first half of the 19th Century. Because of the style and shape of the body and the distinctive scroll shape to the handle, I believe this may be a Boardman teapot.

DIMENSIONS: The teapot is 8 7/8" H. x 5 1/16" W. x 10 3/8" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle.
CONDITION: The condition is very good with the edges of the base flattened a bit, I fear this may be from this being placed on some heat at one time.
