This auction is for an Antique American Pewter Teapot, Smith & Co., Boston, MA., c. 1830-1870. This beautiful pewter teapot has a classic cylindrical design with a curved spout and shaped handle. The pewter teapot has an impressed arched mark in the underside of the base that reads, "SMITH & CO.". This is the mark of Smith & Co.. This firm worked out of Boston, Ma.in the middle of the 19th century. This is in truly exceptional condition with hardly a scratch to the surface!

DIMENSIONS: The pewter teapot is 8 3/8" H. x 5" Dia. and 10 1/8" L..
CONDITION: The condition is very good to excellent with the wooden "button" at the finial missing a little paint the only flaw. There is black paint on the woodenl handle and the tepot appears to be new.
